I'm not a fan of the "hurry up to go slow" model often found in large corporate clients. They want the service provider to start now and work fast, but sometimes the review process (and the payment process) is slow.

I've enjoyed working with growth-staged startups most because the process is more fluid and it's easier to collaborate without the bureaucracy. And yes, they're more open to working with your payment terms!
